Automated Customer Access and Data Capture
The FS-20 Controller is used to retrofit the Village of Shorewood’s existing bulk water fill station, enabling automated customer accounts for access and billing.
Offsite administration
Whether your stations are onsite, or 25 miles away from your office, Portalogic can remotely control and monitor your stations in real-time. You can activate or deactivate truck privileges, view station usage, set station hours, and more.
Secure hauler access
A facility assigned access code and PIN permits haulers in good standing to use the station. Integrate new or existing gate controls into Portalogic software for added convenience and security. Allow authorized haulers into your facility, or deny access as needed.
Automated record keeping
Easily create accounts for new customers and tie trucks to their accounts for easy tracking. Portalogic automatically synchronizes with the stations. Transaction details such as customer, truck, time, volume, cost, and more are stored in real-time.
The Village of Shorewood sought a ‘smart’ solution which could integrate with their existing infrastructure and reduce manual oversite. Our combined hardware + software solution addresses additional site requirements, such as creating authorized customer accounts, PIN code access, and pre-payment for bulk water purchases.
Authorized usage only
Customers utilize their uniquely assigned access number and PIN to sign into the station. Customers can make pre-paid payments for bulk water purchases via their personal customer dashboard, Portapay. The station’s smart software identifies the customer, availability of funds, and either enables access or notifies of an insufficient pre-paid balance. Insufficient funds? No problem. Customers’ payments in Portapay are communicated to stations in real time.
24/7 User access
Portalogic fill stations allow the convenience of 24/7 accessibility. Additionally, the Shorewood facility can operate without an attendant, as the process is automated and self-serving. With Portalogic, Shorewood facility employees are now able to monitor user activity and payments with accuracy from the convenience of a remote office.
Portapay Customer Dashboard
Our customer dashboard allows customers to independently make payments and track past activity. Shorewood's bulk water fill station integrates the Portapay payment portal for payments as well as customer account creation. New customers are directed to the Portapay web or mobile application where they can provide required information and receive authorization in real time. Portapay provides access number, PIN, and the ability to add funds—eliminating the need for your administrative staff to manually accept phone calls and enter customer details.
